HISTORY
Herbie joined our crew in 2015 when he moved to the Okanagan from his longtime home with Leann's mom on Vancouver Island. He was originally bought as a 3 year old from the BC Interior to be Doris' pleasure mount. After 8 years of intermittent light riding, Doris decided that Herbie was ready for more work than her back could handle after surgery.
So after a bit of a boot camp like orientation, Herbie has proved to be a very smart, relatively fearless, plucky little ranch pony with some spice. He meets his clients where they're at and is willing to invest a surprising amount of energy to avoid work sometimes.
