HISTORY:
We met Nara while helping ALERT to evacuate some horses from the Keremeos Creek wildfire in 2022. She was very skeptical of humans and was not easily haltered and handled but we were able to move her out of harms way without too much fuss. The next year Nara's owner needed to move his hoses from their home and decided that Nara needed some skilled handling to help her stay safe with humans so we took her on. Her relationship with us is growing and she has a special place in our herd and in our hearts now!
