Welcome to the Ranch!  After taking on this rustic 10 acre horse facility in June of 2022, we are so pleased to look back over the past couple years and see how far we've come.

R4L Ranch has become the little ranch that could.  It is not only the host location for many of the services we offer, but it is home to our retired or rehabilitating equine staff, home to many boarded horses, and a special place where we can hold space for growth and connection with open events, projects, and community service.

This year we plan to host more free and open public events and projects including an annual open house and tack swap, Barnyard Olympics family fun day, community garden, and solstice gathering.  We also plan to open our gates once again as and emergency large animal intake facility with ALERT in the case of evacuations in our region.

History of the Ranch

D bar K
Ranch

Way back in 2011, Leann along with her three horses - Quiggly, Valentine, and Samson - moved to Oliver and began boarding her horses at D bar K Ranch.  This was the first good opportunity Leann had to begin riding more often, showing a little bit again, and teaching lessons consistently.  She taught both as part of the D bar K instruction team, and also served some therapeutic clients under the Riding 4 Life Banner.
